On June 21, 2024, the delivery ceremony of the first batch of EH216-S unmanned manned aircraft system products in Zhuhai was held at the Yihang Intelligent · Yunfu Factory in Yunfu City, Guangdong Province. Wang Tao, Deputy Director of the Management Committee of Zhuhai Wanshan Marine Development Experimental Zone, Lei Gang, General Manager of Wanshan Development Group, and Liu Jiangquan, Director of Intelligent Business at Yihang, attended the event and jointly launched the EH216-S test flight ceremony.

According to the relevant work deployment of Wanshan District, Wanshan Development Group reached a strategic cooperation with Yihang Intelligence and Feitianxia Company at the beginning of the year, establishing Wanyi Tianxia (Zhuhai) Aviation Co., Ltd. to cooperate in carrying out the Wanshan Islands low altitude economic drone project. The project will be constructed in three phases, with an estimated total investment of 130 million yuan. The plan is to create application scenarios such as drone logistics, medical material transportation, island manned sightseeing, and land island manned transportation, gradually creating a low altitude economic "ten thousand mountain model". The investment amount for the first phase of the project is about 30 million yuan, which will respectively build a digital dispatch center, Guishan Island low altitude economic demonstration center, Tangjiagang unmanned aerial vehicle logistics operation base, and exhibition center.

This time, Yihang Intelligence has successfully delivered 5 EH216-S unmanned manned aircraft and 1 VT20 series logistics unmanned aircraft to Wanshan Development Group, which will be used for the first phase of the Wanshan Islands low altitude economic project. Under the witness of on-site guests and media reporters, the unmanned manned aircraft EH216-S took off smoothly and landed smoothly after flying along the route in the factory air for a week.

Wang Tao, Deputy Director of the Management Committee of Zhuhai Wanshan Marine Development Pilot Zone, stated that as the first local marine comprehensive development pilot zone in China, Zhuhai Wanshan Marine Development Pilot Zone has taken the lead in launching island low altitude economic business in the city, creating the first domestic island low altitude economic application scenario, and actively building a new island logistics system that meets the diversified and multi-dimensional application needs of maritime tourism, land island transportation, anchorage economy, marine ranching, emergency rescue, and other scenarios. Next, Wanshan District plans to take the opening of land and island drone cargo supply as an opportunity to further expand the low altitude economic application scenarios of island drones, carry out drone sightseeing inter island transportation and international anchorage supply, help the high-quality development of island economy, and make positive contributions to the launch of national island low altitude economic industry norms.
